The fact that it’s lost to me affirms your greatest fears
I can sense it lurking its preying on the light
My shadow is a killer that won’t spare your life
Feeding on the emptiness in victims blood-black eyes
My shadow will become what they most despise
What they see I do not know for I am just a shell
A meat cage of deadly sins to return to hell
My silence signifies deaths to be
Lynches, mass fires, murder
Anything it wants to be
Taken by the guilt
